SEWN
Client Project, Collaborative Group

Strategic Early Warning Network (SEWN) has been dedicated to helping Pennsylvania businesses avoid layoff or closure for 35 years. SEWN is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and offers their services at no cost, being completely free and confidential.

The client wanted a fresh rebrand and requested a logo, tri-fold brochure and editable social media templates. Upon approaching the logo, I suggested a keystone to represent two meanings: Pennsylvania as the Keystone State and a keystone (capstone), which is the final and most important piece of a bridge. The icon was made with one continuous line to symbolize the endless support SEWN gives their clients. Eventually, the icon was combined with a font used by
a team member to create the final logo.

I was assigned to create a tri-fold brochure that followed the new brand guidelines the design team had created. Incorporating arches (swooshes) as a nod to the bridge in their old logo, newly adjusted color palette, Mohave
and Area font as well as checkmark bullets.
